Miloš Alexander Bazovský

Miloš Alexander Bazovský (1899 in Turany nad Váhom – 1968 in Trenčín) was an eminent Slovak painter, often ranked among the most prominent figures of 20th-century art from Slovakia.

Life
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and at the private painting school in Vienna.

In 1964 he was appointed national artist.
